You will need to set healthy goals. The best way to do this is see your doctor. he can help you set a healthy goal for your height and weight. he will also access your health and make sure there is not a health factor involved that may keep you from reaching your goals.

You would never want to lose weight rapidly without the supervision of an trained physician. The most sensible loss is 2 pounds a week. The slower you lose, the longer you will keep it off. Plus it is just better for your body.

Diets restrict food intake. This is not healthy. Depravation only leads to failure. Plus, calorie and fat instake is only a small piece of the weight loss puzzle. For success you need all the pieces.

A commitment to change and improve these factors is the most sensible approach to take. Do not just starve yourself. That just leads to failure. Not to mention it wreaks havoc on your body and emotions. You could end up a fuss bucket, with thinning hair and dry skin.

Fad diets. We have all tried them. But, if they worked would you be trying to lose weight again. Of course not! They don't work. never have, never will! Opt for a healthy approach instead.

Go out and buy a good nutrition book. Learn the facts. Become a food expert and climb some stairs. In not time everyone will be asking what diet you are on. you will feel awesome to say none, I have just made some healthy changes.

Obesity has many health risk. Weight loss is a positive thing and you should think about this when times get tough. Obesity can lead to diabetes, stroke, heart conditions and high blood pressure. Dont let your un healthy weight be the cause for a serious medical condition. - 15343
