Fast Killing of Toenail Fungus Naturally

By Miley Neo

Killing toenail fungus is not an easy task for most people and even when you do succeed in finally getting it to go away, it will often come back later.

Toenail fungus is highly contagious and that is one of its biggest problems. It also has the ability to live for long periods of time in gyms, public pools, etc so you have to take every precaution to make sure you don't contract it.

If you are unlucky enough to catch nail fungus, keeping your feet washed and dry is critical because the fungus likes to live and multiply in damp, dark places like the end of your shoes. You can also try several natural ingredients that can help you to get rid of the fungus.

Natural Undecylenic Acid

The first natural ingredient is undecylenic acid and it is derived from castor oil. Basically, the castor oil is cracked under extreme pressure to obtain the acid. Undecylenic acid is approved by the FDA for various ailments that are treated by over the counter type products.

Tea Tree or Melaleuca Oil

Tea Tree Oil, also known as Melaleuca Oil is extracted from the Melaleuca tree native to Australia. The oil is known for its antiseptic and antifungal properties and was often used by military troops to help fight off infections from wounds. Tea tree oil is not the same as tea oil which is used primarily for cooking.

Oil of Cloves

From the clove plant, we get another of nature's antifungal miracles called Clove Oil. It too has been shown to help in killing toenail fungus. Clove plants are generally grown in areas like Pakistan, India, and other countries in that region. - 15343
