This Is The Era Of Opportunity - Time To Lose Weight!

To talk of opportunity when the world is concentrating on survival may sound a little bizarre, but it is not as daft as you think. If you look at the newspapers or look at television news you will hardly be filled with the desire to look for opportunity. Everything you hear and read about will tell you that opportunity has ceased to exist. Luckily, that is far from the truth.

Can you make sense of happening in the world? It's difficult to understand sometimes, but what we are seeing is the bankrupting of the 'old order'. The few who have put their own selfish self-interest above the interests of the majority have been found out. Their excesses have caught up with them. There is nowhere for them to hide.

There is little point in worrying about what has happened. If we concentrate on this too much it will be totally counter-productive. We all know where the blame lies. We need to get our minds on more productive things. We need to be thinking about the world we want to live in. We need to concentrate on creating institutions that will support a just and fair society.

Hopefully we can look forward to a new world order. We all need to be able to work together in the new global economy and we have to have systems that support this. It's a big readjustment.

This all sounds good, but what has it to do with opportunity? What has it got to do with losing weight? It has implications for both and it's all to do with change. The world is changing and we must change with it. With change comes opportunity.

The obesity epidemic which has been sweeping the civilized world is a symptom of our unhappiness and the state of society. Of course it has other causes, but we have allowed ourselves to become flabby physically - and mentally.

Right now, there are some hard choices we have to make if we are going to survive and make our lives worth living. We have to get healthier and fitter. If we get ourselves into shape then we will be in the best possible position to grasp new opportunities. We have to make change.

To some the thought of making change is daunting. It's not really. All it means is that you have to identify your bad habits and learn new ones, slim habits. If you do, the weight you will lose will be permanent. Permanent weight loss comes from changing your behavior. It's long-lasting and will enable you to be fit and able to create a bright and successful future.
