Enjoy Your Weight Loss

Daily exercise to lose weight doesn't have to be something that is dreaded.

Good healthy food is what you should eat, food that is filling. Initially you may feel starved until your body adapts to the smaller portions of better quality food.

Drinking a larger quantity of water is one of the best ways to assist your body in this adjustment.

Although exercise is one of the best ways of losing weight, many people are reluctant to exercise.

There are types of exercises that can cater to practically anyone even the obese people that find exercise difficult.

I recommend swimming, biking and walking to improve your overall fitness and reduce your body weight. These exercises can speed up your metabolism and burn fat. The obese who find walking difficult should swim; swimming burns fat and will increase your metabolism.

Nordic walking is popular and I recommend it for two reasons.

By using the poles when you walk you use a lot more of your upper body muscles this helps to burn more calories.

The other benefit of using the poles when walking is the fact that it takes a lot of the stress off your knees and hips and this can be a godsend for over-sized people who find that their joints take quite a hammering when walking due to their weight.
